Slang Words

1. Boo- boyfriend or girlfriend
Ex: I just have to see you boo.
2. Chill- hang out, relax, stop doing something
Ex: I'm just going to chill with my friends at the mall today.
3. Like- A meaningless word used in teen-age American speech which may indicate, among other things a gap in thinking or brain functioning; a contemporary equivalent of "uh" or "um".
Ex: He was, like, "Where are you going?"
4. Sick- crazy, cool, insane
Ex: Your new skateboard is sick.
5. Props-giving "respect or recognition"
Ex: I got to give that girl major props for her performance
6. Off the hook- Expression used to describe something that is really good.
Ex: That party was off the hook!
7. Knocked up-to get pregnant; an unplanned pregnancy, unwanted.
Ex: Amanda got knocked up because Jimmy didn't use protection.
8. Screwed-To be in serious trouble.
Ex: "When my parents found out I killed their parrot, I'll be screwed!"
9. Jacked-To get robbed, mugged, rolled or beaten up by someone.
Ex: That kid just jacked my bike.
10. Whack-an event, action, or thing which makes no sense or is contrary to a logical course of action; something entirely disagreeable or undesirable.
Ex: "Did you hear that Josh was grounded? It’s totally whack"
